The causes of temperature and moisture changes encompass the following scenarios’s:

The condensation of water occurring within a shipping container due to temperature changes causes settlement of moisture on the cooler parts and components. This condensation of water on parts is termed as “Container Rain”.
This happens when humid air is cooled below its dew point and the moisture starts to settle on or condense on the cooler more conductive metal parts. To counteract the effect of “Container Rain” dehumidifiers can be used, which reduce the moisture content in the air hence lowering the dew point and preventing the “Container Rain” issue.
Humid-X+contains; high quality, natural and safe dehumidifiers which are food safe. The surrounding air is effectively dehumidified by creating a partial vacuum within the bucket that sucks in moist air and then dehumidify it (i.e. absorbs the water out of it).
The Humid-X+ bucket is fitted with a breathable TYVEK membrane which is fully permeable to moisture but doesnot allow water to penetrate through the membrane hence trapping it within the Humid-X+ Bucket.
